Jungle Experience Adventure at Manor Heath Park

Today, residents and staff from our care home embarked on an exciting outing to Manor Heath Park, and what a day it turned out to be! Originally set for a classic bear hunt, our adventure took an unexpected and delightful turn as we found ourselves exploring the wonders of the Jungle Experience!

The park was alive with the sounds of nature, and it didn’t take long for our group to spot a variety of fascinating creatures. Among the most memorable moments were the beautiful butterflies fluttering by, adding a splash of color to the scenery, and the playful terrapin turtles who seemed just as curious about us as we were about them.

After our wildlife adventure, we gathered under the cool shade of a large tree. The views of the park were simply stunning, and it was the perfect spot to settle down, unwind, and enjoy a lovely picnic. With cups of hot tea in hand, everyone shared laughs, stories, and plenty of delicious treats, making it a heartwarming afternoon for all involved.

The day was not just about getting out into nature—it was about making memories, creating new friendships, and fostering the sense of community that makes our care home so special. This outing will certainly be one to remember, and we’re grateful for the chance to spend such a wonderful time together.
